Year 11 Progress Lead Mrs Doran
As the Year 11 Progress Lead, I bring a wealth of experience to the role and have had the privilege of supporting this wonderful year group since the end of Year 8. It has been a genuine joy to see them grow into confident, capable young people, and I feel proud to be part of their journey.
My role is to ensure that every student is not only making strong academic progress but also developing into a well-rounded individual. I combine academic support with a strong focus on pastoral care, ensuring that each student feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential. I work closely with students to help them build resilience, confidence, and the mindset to be exceptional in everything they do—both inside and outside the classroom. I will always provide support and advice if needed. I would also hope that students are kind and supportive to one another during this challenging year. I am extremely proud to see the personal growth that all students have made over the past years.
High expectations underpin everything we do. I promote excellent behaviour, consistent effort, and good manners as the foundation for success, while also recognising that every student is unique. I take a personalised approach to behaviour management and pastoral support, tailoring interventions to individual needs and always keeping safeguarding at the heart of my work.
Ultimately, my aim is for every student to leave Year 11 not just with strong academic results, but as respectful, determined, and well-prepared individuals who are ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the future.
Good luck for the year ahead, Year 11. Remember to believe that you can and you’re halfway there!
